Education Package

It has been suggested by a number of Aboriginal Education Officers who have supported the ARDAC study, that the development of kidney health education resources to teach students about chronic kidney disease (CKD) would be an appropriate way for the study to give back to the schools and communities involved.

The team from the ARDAC study plan to develop educational resources providing information about chronic kidney disease that can be accessed through this website. The resources will aim to address the need for further education and awareness about chronic kidney disease and how it can be prevented and will be accessible to students and teachers in primary and high schools, as well as health workers and the wider community. Community participation will be a key aspect of planning, implementation and evaluation of this project.
